(just as a heads up. began reading wc williams' Patterson. not sure i'm sold, but there is some neat stuff going on. very cinematic. the underlying philosophy is a bit weird. w/ a very telling nod to pound's italian economics in Book I. really like to find out about the whole pisan cantos controversy. apparently williams was right in the middle of it all. as was my boy r. lowell.
and i still have the cantos in check. awaiting a read lo these many years later. pound may be next.)
