slept like a teenager and didn't roll until 8.5 am. got to the underhill approach to mansfield @ 9'ish.

sunset ridge trail (was anything but).

vizability was nill. wind was howlin.
ultimately moving through an underwater scene.
hostile.
but a good push nonehteless, ya know.

back side of the day the sun decided to grace the valley. certainly a later day hike would have provided a different experience.

playing golf tommorow and then a decision. head east toward the newly discovered whites, or east and handle marcy > haystack> etc.

nice to have to choose between the available options.
