really though, we all gotta slog through it. somebody today asked if i had fun on the hike. strange question that begs a definition of fun. cheshire cat, smilin fun: nope. but a valuable experience. sometimes it aint about the "fun." sometimes its about just sloggin through. i got the shoes (as spike lee recognized, its gotta be the shoes) ta say, at least metaphorically, i been through it.
